Nicolas Fischer, CFA has over 20 years of work experience in the finance industry. Nicolas is currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Mirova since October 2019. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Risk Manager at Ostrum Asset Management from April 2011 to October 2019. From September 2007 to April 2011, Nicolas held the position of Head of the Risk Watch team at Natixis. Nicolas began their career as an IT Project Manager at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking - SGCIB in September 1998, where they worked until August 2007.

Nicolas Fischer, CFA, has an extensive education history spanning various fields and institutions. In 1994 to 1997, they attended ENSIIE - École Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique pour l'Industrie et l'Entreprise, where they graduated with a degree in Information Technology. Following this, in 1996 to 1997, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition (Artificial Intelligence) at Aston University.

In 2005 to 2007, Nicolas pursued their Master's degree in Capital Markets Finance and Asset Management at Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM). Nicolas then went on to complete various levels of the CFA program, passing levels I, II, and III, from 2016 to 2018, through the CFA Institute.

More recently, in September 2022, they obtained the CFA Institute Certification in ESG, specializing in Environmental, Social, and Governance issues. This year, in October 2022, they also acquired the prestigious CFA designation from the CFA Institute.

Furthermore, Nicolas Fischer completed their preparatory education at Maths Sup and Maths Spe at Lycee Kleber Strasbourg, although the specific degree attained is not stated.
