Pablo Garcia-Amorena

Pablo Garcia-Amorena currently serves as a Scientific Assistant at EPFL, beginning in March 2024. Prior to this role, Pablo was the CEO and Co-Founder of Mirrakoi from July 2016 to February 2024, where leadership focused on the commercialization of the 3D CAD solution Rhino3DMedical, a software designed for creating 3D-printable models from medical images, while managing relations with over 1,000 clinicians, hospital departments, and stakeholders. Pablo also held the position of CTO and Co-Founder at Mirrakoi SA, a spin-off from the Biomedical Imaging Group at EPFL, dedicated to making 3D CAD software solutions more accessible for medical professionals. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computational Science and Engineering from EPFL and a double degree in Mathematics and Industrial Engineering from CFIS-UPC.
