Monica Fitzpatrick has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Monica began their career as Manager, KeyHolder at AKIRA Chicago, where they managed a team of stylists and was responsible for meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly goals. Monica then worked as a Corporate Sales Assistant at Condé Nast and Bauer Media Group-UK. In 2016, they took on the role of Client Advisor at Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy. In 2017, they became a Brand Ambassador at Suite Partners Inc. In 2018, they took on the role of Multimedia Manager at BlackDoctor.org. Most recently, in 2020, they became Social Media Manager at Black Spectacles, where they were responsible for growing and maintaining Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Youtube, managing marketing campaigns, managing an online community forum, building brand awareness, and managing Google, Instagram, and Facebook ads. Currently, they are an Influencer Marketing Coordinator at Mirror Digital.

Monica Fitzpatrick earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Marketing/ Advertising/ Sports Marketing from Columbia College Chicago in 2014. In 2021, they obtained a Social Media Marketing Certification from HubSpot Academy.
