Jessie is a sought after writer, artist, & publisher contributing to several film and magazines such as Cinefantastique, Locus, McGills, Fantastic Films, Cinefex, Fangoria and Starlog and was an editor for Fantastic Films. She wrote what is still the best study of Stephen King films: Stephen King at the Movies. Jessie was hired by Greg Morrison at MGM to developing marketing strategies and genre promotions in the studio.
She founded Midnight Graffiti magazine, which published top writers of fantasy, horror and science fiction such as Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, Harlan Ellison, Dan Simmons, Ramsey Campbell, Neil Gaiman. Midnight Graffiti interested several producers, and continues life on the internet. Warner Books published their best-selling collection of stories in 1992, Midnight Graffiti. Hachett Books is currently negotiating to reissue the anthology.
She collaborated with Japan’s Yoshitaka Amano to write and develop a graphic novel series, Hero. Mr. Amano is the creator of the legendary Final Fantasy video and games, and it was Neil Gaiman who suggested Jessie as his American collaborator on this epic project.
She designed several Varese Sarbandé releases and remains a sought-after graphic designer, cover and poster artist, continuing a long association with key television and movie studios; Netflix, AMC and Amazon Prime, continues work with major Hollywood event companies such as Bennaroch Productions and Damminger Productions, as their go to artist for premiere movie and television events.
