Jonathan Bakebwa

Jonathan Bakebwa has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Jonathan is currently working as the CTO at Mirror World since September 2021. Prior to that, they were the CEO and Founder of Xtellar Works, Inc. starting from August 2021.

In 2021, they also worked at rct AI as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer since November, and as a Software Engineer specializing in Ethereum and Vue.js from August to February 2022.

Jonathan has also contributed as a Maintainer for Chakra UI Vue starting from May 2020.

In 2015, they volunteered at Phaneroo Ministries International, working on website and app development using tools like Wordpress.

From 2018 to 2021, they played a significant role as a Co-founder, Software Engineer, and CTO at Akkadu, where they focused on developing simultaneous interpretation software and worked extensively with Vue.

Earlier in their career, Jonathan worked as a Secretary at A23 Labs from 2015 to 2016 and as a Database Administrator at FIT Uganda from January to July 2015.

Jonathan Bakebwa has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Technology from the Beijing Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2016 to 2020. During the same period, they also pursued Full Stack Web Development Certification in Computer Software Engineering at freeCodeCamp from 2016 to 2017.
