Hallam Gugelmann

Hallam Gugelmann has a strong background in the medical field. Hallam started their career at UCSF Medical Center in 2013, where they completed a Fellowship in Medical Toxicology. After that, they worked at San Francisco Emergency Medical Associates as an Attending Physician from 2014 to 2021. In 2015, Hallam joined California Poison Control Systems as an Assistant Medical Director. Hallam then moved on to Genentech in 2019, where they served as a Safety Science Medical Director until 2021. Hallam also has experience at Roche, where they held the positions of Safety Science Medical Director and Senior Medical Director. Most recently, they have been appointed as the Senior Medical Director at Mirum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. starting in 2023. Hallam's expertise and extensive work experience make him a valuable asset in the medical field.

Hallam Gugelmann completed a Fellowship in Medical Toxicology from the University of California, San Francisco from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they completed a Residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania from 2009 to 2013. Hallam obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine from 2004 to 2009. Hallam also received a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2007 to 2008. Prior to their medical education, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from The Johns Hopkins University from 1998 to 2001. In 2018, Hallam Gugelmann obtained the Medical Toxicology Subspecialty Certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
