Matt Kent

Matt Kent has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Matt is currently working at Mirum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as the Associate Director of Medical Information, a role they started in February 2024. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as the Senior Manager of Medical Information from February 2023 to February 2024, and as a Medical Information Manager from April 2021 to February 2023.

Before joining Mirum Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Matt worked at Gilead Sciences as an Associate Manager of Medical Information from June 2020 to April 2021. Matt also served as a Postgraduate Medical Information Fellow at the company from July 2019 to June 2020.

Matt's earlier experiences include working as a Student Pharmacist at Hy-Vee, Inc. from April 2014 to May 2019, a Freelance Medical Writer at Healthcare Marketing Network from April 2018 to April 2019, and a Student Pharmacist at UnityPoint Health from March 2017 to January 2019.

Additionally, Matt served as the Chairperson of the Drake Pharmacy Unified Group of Students from May 2017 to April 2018.

Matt Kent, PharmD, MBA earned a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Drake University in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General from Drake University in 2019 as well. In addition to their academic achievements, Matt also holds a certification in Wilderness First Aid from the Emergency Care & Safety Institute, obtained in 2012.
