Vinita Kumar

Vinita Kumar is an experienced senior executive in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Head of Global Quality at Mirum Pharmaceuticals since March 2021. Previously, Vinita held the position of Vice President and Head of Quality Assurance at Corcept Therapeutics from October 2018 to October 2021. At Versartis, from April 2016 to October 2018, Vinita was responsible for building the Quality (QA/QC) organization and defining the Global Quality Strategy. Prior to that, Vinita was the first QA hire at Relypsa, eventually becoming Vice President of Quality Assurance, overseeing the development of a robust QA team. Earlier roles include serving as QA Manager at Telik, Inc., and as a Scientist at Oread and Syntex. Vinita's educational background includes a degree from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
