Hugh O'Brien

Hugh O'Brien has a diverse work experience in the legal and property industry. Hugh began their career as a Senior Associate at Minter Ellison in 1998, working in both the Auckland and Sydney offices until 2006. Hugh then joined Brookfield Multiplex as a Legal Counsel, specializing in development, from 2006 to 2009. Currently, they are employed at Mirvac, where they hold the position of General Counsel - CIO and IIP since July 2021. Prior to this role, they served as a Senior Legal Counsel from November 2009 to September 2021, providing legal services and collaborating with various departments within the organization.

Hugh O'Brien attended Victoria University of Wellington from 1991 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature.
