Haji M Baharuddin H. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Haji M Baharuddin began their career in 1996 as a Junior Finance Executive at Binariang Sdn Bhd (Maxis). Haji M Baharuddin then moved on to roles such as Executive I and Executive II at the same company. In 2000, Haji started working as a Freelance Financial & Business Analyst. Haji M Baharuddin later joined Maxis Communications Bhd in 2000, where they held positions as Executive I, Senior Executive, Assistant Manager, and Manager. During their time at Maxis, Haji played a key role in corporate strategy, internal consulting, and business planning. In 2007, they joined Packet One Networks Sdn Bhd as the Head of Business & Strategy Development. Haji joined Axiata Group (formerly TM International Bhd) in 2008 as an Assistant Vice President, Group Strategy, where they achieved significant milestones including the successful acquisition and establishment of new business entities. In 2018, Haji briefly worked at MISC as part of their Corporate Planning team. Haji M Baharuddin then joined Seeheart Sdn Bhd in 2012, where they served as a Director until 2020. Haji returned to MISC in 2019 as the Data Governance, Management & Analytics Lead and also took on the role of Digital Transformation Program Director.

Haji M Baharuddin H. completed their SPM at Segamat High School. Haji M Baharuddin then pursued a Diploma in Accountancy at Universiti Teknologi MARA from 1991 to 1994. Subsequently, they obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Accounting & Finance from De Montfort University between 1994 and 1996.
