Larry Rankens has a diverse work experience spanning over four decades. Larry began their career in 1971 as an Auditor and Chief Financial Officer for multiple State and Local Governments, where they worked until 1981. From 1983 to 1998, Larry held the position of Senior Vice President Business Development at multiple Midwest Banks. In 1998, they joined Mischler Financial Group as a Senior Vice President of Investments, where they currently work.

Larry Rankens has a strong educational background in the fields of business and finance. Larry earned a Bachelor's degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Michigan State University, where they studied from 1964 to 1969. Larry then pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from 1969 to 1971.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Larry Rankens also holds several certifications. In July 2019, they obtained an Illinois Life Insurance License from the Illinois Department of Insurance. This certification allows him to practice life insurance in the state of Illinois. Furthermore, in November 1989, Larry obtained the Series 7, 66, and 24 certifications from FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). These certifications demonstrate their expertise in the financial industry and their ability to work as a registered representative.
