Linda Auker

Linda Auker, Ph.D., currently serves as the Program Director of Environmental Studies at Misericordia University, where responsibilities include leading a new program and teaching various upper-level courses in Invertebrate Biology, Biostatistics, and Marine Biology. Previous academic positions include Visiting Assistant Professor roles at St. Lawrence University and Siena College, where innovative teaching methods were employed. Linda has a background as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Rhode Island and University of New Hampshire, along with experience as a Visiting Scientist at the Cawthron Institute. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Zoology from the University of New Hampshire and an MS in Oceanography from the University of Rhode Island, with ongoing studies in Spatial Data Science at Penn State University.
