Irfan Islam

Irfan Islam has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Irfan is currently serving as an Advisor at AmarLab. Prior to this, they held the role of Board Member at Spreeha. In 2020, they co-founded CYE Retail Tech and also worked as the Director Commercial at Misfit Technologies Ltd., Principal Advisor at iFarmer.asia, and Head of Corporate Affairs & Government Relation at Nagad. From 2014 to 2020, they held the position of Executive Vice President, Head of Privilege Banking & Cash Management Unit at Mutual Trust Bank Ltd. Before that, they worked at Eastern Bank Limited as SAVP & Senior Manager, Customer Proposition, Brand & Communications. Irfan started their professional career at Rangs Group as Deputy Manager, Brand & Marketing and also worked at Robi Axiata Limited as an Executive in Product Development.

Irfan Islam completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from North South University, from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from the same university, from 1999 to 2004. Before attending university, Irfan completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Dhaka College, from 1996 to 1998. Irfan also completed their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, from 1988 to 1996.
