Mary Booras has a diverse work experience. Mary is currently Sr. Manager, Client Engagement and Client Experience Manager at Misha and Puff, and Founder at Thalassa, both since 2020. From 2015-2020, Mary worked at Harvard Art Museums as Visitor Services Supervisor, where they oversaw shop and front desk opening and closing procedures and supervised Visitor Services Assistants. Mary also planned and executed retail buying strategy in close collaboration with Director of Visitor Services. From 2010-2015, Mary was Buyer and Manager at Magpie Industries, where they managed daily business operations of an independent boutique gift shop. Mary also worked at Tufts University as Gallery Ambassador, West Roxbury Framing as Sales Associate, El Huerto, Center of Art and Ecology as Visiting Artist and Print Shop Technician, Shepherd Print Studio as Studio Assistant, and Iggy's Bread of the World as Cashier. From 2008-2010, Mary was a Production Assistant for 20th Century Fox, Paramount Studios, and Touchstone Pictures.

Mary Booras attended Massachusetts College of Art and Design from 2003 to 2007, where they earned their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Art Theirtory. Mary then attended Parsons Paris in 2007 for Fine and Studio Arts.
