Mike Bukhin

Co-founder at Misha and Puff

Mike Bukhin has a long and varied work experience. Mike began their professional career in 2000 as a Senior Software Engineer at Healthways, where they worked on the QuitNet, a platform for smokers trying to quit. In 2007, they took a role as a Visiting Researcher at Microsoft, where they developed SocialGenius, a popular game to incentivize interns. In 2008, they became the VP of Engineering at GroundedPower, where they assembled a team of engineers and designers to develop energy efficiency technology. In 2010, they took a role as Senior Director and Architect of Consumer Product at Tendril. In 2011, they co-founded Misha and Puff, a clothing company based out of Boston. In 2012, they co-founded Habitworks and became an advisor at Green Mountain Digital. In 2013, they became the Director of Consumer Engagement Strategy at Aclara. In 2014, they co-founded OrbitHCI - bloom, a platform for families with aging relatives. Finally, in 2017, they became the Senior Director of Product Management at ENGIE Insight.

Mike Bukhin received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University in 2000. Mike then went on to pursue a Master of Arts in ITP from New York University, which they completed in 2007.
