Sr. Embedded Software Engineer at Miso Robotics

Richard Srisamang has worked in the software engineering field for over 20 years. In 1998, they started as a Controls Engineer/Senior Software Engineer at Octant Technologies, Inc. where they developed software for micro-satellites, UAVs, Hardware and Software-in-the-loop testing and simulation. In 2007, they moved to SafeNet as a Principal Software Engineer where they developed manufacturing process of cryptographic cards and managed a small team of developers. From 2012-2016, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems where they were responsible for project management, scheduling, and task estimation, as well as embedded software development on commercial ethernet encryptors. From 2016-2019, they worked at NovaWurks, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer where they helped develop command and telemetry interface to a third-party star-tracker. In 2020, they moved to Northrop Grumman as a Sr. Principal Embedded Software Engineer where they supported the development of Northrop Grumman Military Communications satellite, developed tools in Python to generate xml configuration files, and worked on a common flight software project. Currently, they are a Sr. Embedded Software Engineer at Miso Robotics.

Richard Srisamang received their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC Irvine and their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
