Stephanie Meyer has a diverse background in animal care and research. Stephanie most recently worked at Mispro as an Animal Care Technician II-Team Lead. Prior to that, they worked at Massachusetts General Hospital as a Research Animal Specialist II, where they gained experience in animal husbandry, quarantine procedures, and transportation. Stephanie's previous roles also include work as a Junior Planner at The Light Connection, Inc., a Swing Keeper at Utica Zoo, a Hoofstock Keeper at Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo, and a Relief Keeper at Turtle Back Zoo. Stephanie has also held positions as a Library Aide at Dorothy Webb Quimby Library, an Avian Husbandry Intern at Alaska SeaLife Center, and a Wildlife Rehabilitation Intern at both PELICAN HARBOR SEABIRD STATION INC and Rocky Springs Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Stephanie's experience spans multiple animal care settings and demonstrates their commitment to animal welfare and research.
Stephanie Meyer completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Captive Wildlife Care and Education from Unity Environmental University during the period from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they obtained certification as an Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT/RALAT) in 2021 and is currently pursuing certification as a Laboratory Animal Technician (LAT) from AALAS.
