Aidan Miles

Aidan Miles has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Starting in 2011, they served as the Business Manager for WKCR 89.9 FM New York, where they managed station finances and oversaw station operations and development. In 2013, they worked as a Program Director at Sunrise International Education and a Foreign Teacher at UExcel International Academy.

Moving into the technology field, Aidan worked as a Full-stack Developer at InviBox.com, where they successfully brought a product to beta launch and extended and rewrote portions of the existing codebase. Aidan also served as a Full-stack Developer at Wayla, where they led the development of a new version of the platform using Angular, Ionic, Firebase, S3, and Filepicker.

Aidan then joined Piksel Inc. as a Frontend Developer and Seamgen as a Tech Lead and Ionic/MEAN Developer. In 2016, they worked as a Senior Web Developer at iExhale. From 2017 to 2021, Aidan worked at AppliedVR, where they held roles as a Software Engineering Contractor and later as the Director of Engineering/DevOps Engineer. In this role, they served as a manager, architect, and lead developer, supporting backend and web efforts and automating processes to support development teams.

Currently, Aidan is the CTO at Mission Control, the company behind The AI Responsibility Lab (AIRL). In this role, they lead software development and IT to build enterprise-grade SaaS that helps companies ship zero-defect data science and AI.

Aidan Miles obtained a B.A. degree in East Asian Studies with a focus on Chinese Literature from Columbia University. This degree was earned between the years 2009 and 2013. Prior to attending university, Aidan attended The Bishop's School for high school from 2003 to 2009. The specific field of study pursued during high school is not provided.
