Valerie Miller

Valerie Miller is a highly experienced professional currently serving as a Senior Writer at Mission Control since May 2022. Previously, Valerie held the position of Executive Assistant to the Founding Partner at Ares Management, L.P., where responsibilities included supporting the partner in the Strategy & Relationship Management group and coordinating the Board of Ares Dynamic Credit Allocation Fund, Inc. Additional experience includes roles as an Executive Administrator at Greenlots, Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary of the Army at the United States Department of Defense, and various positions at the Department of Defense and The White House. Valerie's background also features volunteer coordination for Obama for America and a development instructor role in Mozambique. Valerie holds degrees in International Affairs with a focus on Development Studies from The George Washington University and an Associate of Arts in English from Cuyahoga Community College, alongside ongoing studies in screenwriting at UCLA.
