Eduardo Alvarez is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operations and strategy across various industries. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at GALY and a member of the Board of Directors at Mission Dolores Academy, Eduardo previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Amyris, where significant achievements included the construction of a leading precision fermentation plant in Brazil amid the pandemic and the development of numerous natural fermentation products. Prior roles include Operations Strategy Leader at Strategy& within the PwC network, and Senior Vice President at Booz & Company, overseeing a $250 million global operations practice. Early career experience at Booz Allen Hamilton involved leading the Global Technology Strategy practice and driving revenue growth in energy services. Eduardo holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering.
