Jose Mariscal M.P.A. has extensive experience in workforce development, currently serving as the Associate Director of Workforce Development at the Mission Economic Development Agency since January 2018. In this role, Jose coordinates training programs, including the Mission Techies Training Program and Mission Admins Training Program, with responsibilities encompassing curriculum creation and partner organization coordination. Prior to this position, Jose contributed to Larkin Street Youth Services in various capacities, including Interim Assistant Manager of Larkin Street Academy, where services were integrated between workforce programs and academies. Jose began the career at UC Santa Cruz as a Community Assistant, promoting human growth through community development initiatives. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
