Farooq Butt

Farooq Butt is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in project control and financial management. Currently serving as a Finance Program Manager at Mission Essential since May 2023, Farooq previously held the position of Senior Project Control Analyst at Serco from February 2022 to June 2023. Farooq's career at Mission Essential began in January 2012 as a Project Control Analyst, a role maintained until February 2022. Earlier experience includes working as a Finance Specialist at Global Linguist Solutions from May 2008 to November 2011, and as a Lead Finance Analyst at L-3 Communications Linguist Operations & Technical Support from 2006 to 2008. Farooq began the professional journey as a Staff Auditor at Macarthur and Baker INC for a brief period in 2006. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor in Business, Accounting from CQUniversity (2001-2005) and an Associate degree in Hospitality Management from The Australian College of Travel and Hospitality (1998-2001).
