Alexander Parker

Alexander Parker, M.A. M.T.S., currently serves as the Federal Advocacy Coordinator for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, where responsibilities include engaging in federal advocacy planning and drafting communications to government officials on various issues. Previous roles include a Senior Bookseller at Barnes & Noble, Inc., where mentoring new booksellers and ensuring product diversity were key duties. Alexander's academic background features a Master’s degree in Theology from Wesley Theological Seminary, a Master’s degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University, and a Certificate in Muslim-Christian Studies. Additionally, practical experience in international policy and conflict resolution was gained through roles at the Lawyering Peace Program and American University School of International Service, alongside earlier positions in retail and recreation management.
