Cummings Nauer-Takapautolo

Cummings is proud to be born, raised, and educated in San Francisco’s Portola, Mission, and Inner Richmond neighborhoods! She joined the Mission Kids Board in June 2021 with particular interests in Admissions and Fundraising. She is a Program Specialist with the Human Services Agency’s (HSA) Investigations Division and has worked in various HSA departments for over 15 years. Cummings graduated from the University of San Francisco (USF) with a B.A. in History with a dual emphasis in European and American histories and earned an Ethnic Studies certificate. She works closely with the Samoan and Pacific Islander community in the SF Bay Area and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Samoan Community Development Center (SCDC) in SF’s Visitation Valley district. She also volunteers as a choir pianist/singer at two local SF churches and is an active member of the Pacifica Moose Lodge.
