Sean S.

Sean S. has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Sean is currently working as an IT Systems Administrator at Mission Mars since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Mantra Learning as a Lead IT Systems Administrator from March 2020 to August 2021, and as an IT Systems Administrator from March 2020 to September 2020.

Before joining Mantra Learning, Sean worked at Mission Mars as a System Administrator from September 2019 to February 2020. During their time there, they worked on various projects including the introduction of a ticketing system and an exchange to Office 365 migration. Sean also carried out routine maintenance tasks such as network configuration, device setup, and EPOS management. Additionally, they helped implement fibre network at multiple sites and found solutions for sites with poor network connections.

Prior to Mission Mars, Sean worked at The University of Bolton as a Second Line Support Engineer from February 2019 to September 2019. Sean'sresponsibilities included maintaining IT equipment, ensuring PCs had the latest software updates, and supporting Exchange and Office 365.

Before joining The University of Bolton, Sean worked at iomart as a Systems Engineer from September 2018 to December 2018. Sean focused on networking, maintaining firewalls, creating NAT rules, and monitoring servers and hardware using tools like Nagios.

Sean started their IT career at Getronics as a Junior Infrastructure Analyst from September 2016 to August 2018. Sean gained a wide range of skills in incident management and Wintel teams, and worked on security projects for various customers.

Prior to their IT career, Sean worked at Argos as a Customer Service Advisor from June 2014 to July 2016. Sean developed customer service skills, dealt with challenging situations, and provided alternative solutions when needed.

From 2016 to 2018, Sean S. attended QA Apprenticeships where they pursued a Level 8 Technical Apprenticeship in Diploma for Information Technology & Telecommunications Professionals SCQF Level 8.
