Chanel Gonzalez

Chanel Gonzalez serves as a Nurse Educator at South Texas Health System since August 2022 and holds extensive experience in nursing, particularly in labor and delivery. At Mission Regional Medical Center, Chanel has been employed since July 2014, taking on roles as an AWHONN FHM Instructor, RN Labor & Delivery, and OB Nurse Manager. Prior experience includes a position as an R.N. in Labor & Delivery at Rio Grande Regional Hospital from June 2009 to March 2015, where responsibilities included full-time labor and delivery and operating room duties, as well as serving as a Master Trainer for EHR training for nursing and medical staff. Chanel Gonzalez earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of the Incarnate Word, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner, at The University of Texas-Pan American.
