Rhit Donna Thomason

Donna Thomason, RHIT, currently serves as the HIM Manager at Mission Regional Medical Center since January 2010, with expertise in Meditech systems, including scanning, archiving, and EMR management. Previously, Donna worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist for CareTech Solutions, focusing on document imaging software testing from August 2006 to May 2009. Donna also held the position of Health Information Management Supervisor at Hurley Medical Center from 1999 to 2006, where responsibilities included overseeing a large department and managing electronic imaging systems. Earlier in Donna's career, roles included Correspondence Assistant II at Pontiac Osteopathic Hospital, handling medical records and related documentation. Donna holds an Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology from Baker College and completed a leadership program in 2012.
