Guozhen Yue

Guozhen Yue possesses extensive expertise in the solar energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Module Process & Technology at Mission Solar Energy since May 2014, where responsibilities include managing the entire module line, operator training, and process improvement. Prior experience includes roles as a Device Engineer at HeiloVolt, focusing on Cu(In,Ga)Se2 module and cell efficiency enhancements, and a Senior Research Scientist at United Solar Ovonic LLC, specializing in thin film coating techniques and technology development in the silicon-based thin film solar industry. Academic experience includes a position as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Guozhen Yue designed a prototype X-ray generator, and significant research during the Ph.D. candidacy at the Institute of Semiconductors. Guozhen Yue holds a Ph.D. in Semiconductor Physics and Devices from the Institute of Semiconductors, a Master's from Lanzhou University, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Lanzhou University.
