Mwende Nyakiaro

Mwende Nyakiaro is a Principal Consultant at Mission Talent, an executive search firm specializing in the non-profit and international development sector, since August 2016. Prior experience includes over nine years at the United Nations Office at Nairobi, where Mwende held various roles, including Budget and Administrative Assistant, Human Resource Assistant, and Communications Associate. Responsibilities involved managing budgets for small UN agencies, supporting recruitment processes, and developing communication strategies for pandemic preparedness. Mwende's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in New Media, Governance and Democracy from the University of Leicester and a BA in Mass Communication and Peace Studies from Daystar University. Additionally, an internship at the United Nations Information Centre focused on public information dissemination.
