Chris Lin

Medical Director at Mission Veterinary Partners

Chris Lin has a diverse work experience that includes roles in the veterinary field, as well as internships and volunteer positions. They started their career as a Research Assistant at the Human Computer Interaction & Distributed Cognition Lab at UCSD in 2008. They also worked as a Channel Marketing Intern at SolidProfessor and as a Product Management Intern at Mitchell International in the same year.

In 2009, Chris volunteered at Project Wildlife as a Care Center Volunteer and at the CA Department of Fish & Game as an Oil Spill Volunteer. They then worked as a Veterinary Assistant at Veterinary Specialty Hospital from 2010 to 2011.

In 2012, Chris worked as a Veterinary Technician at New Trail Animal Hospital for a few months before transitioning to a role as an Associate Veterinarian at Care Animal Hospital of Arlington Heights from 2015 to 2017. They gained experience in advanced imaging, surgical and dental procedures, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.

Chris then joined Companion Animal Hospital Partners, LLC in 2017, starting as an Associate Veterinarian and eventually becoming a Medical Director in July 2019. They held this role until November 2021.

Currently, Chris is working as the Medical Director at Mission Veterinary Partners as of November 2021.

Chris Lin attended UC San Diego from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Cognitive Science. Afterward, they pursued further education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2011 to 2015, obtaining a degree in Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
