Dan Phillips has a diverse work experience in the veterinary field. Dan is currently serving as the Director of University Engagement at Mission Veterinary Partners since September 2021, where they previously held the position of Strategic Medical Director from December 2020 to September 2021. Prior to that, they were the Chief Executive Officer at Vet Mentor Solutions starting from November 2019. Dan worked as a Veterinarian at Barrington Square Animal Hospital from November 2016 to January 2021, and at Care Animal Hospital from July 2012 to November 2016. Dan also gained experience as a Small Animal Rotating Intern at Tufts Cummings College of Veterinary Medicine from June 2011 to June 2012. Dan began their career as an Emergency On-Call Surgery Technician at North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine from January 2008 to August 2011.
Dan Phillips attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2003 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dan then went on to North Carolina State University and obtained a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from 2007 to 2011. After completing their degree, they furthered their education by attending Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine from 2011 to 2012, where they completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship.
