Cynthia Maravilla-MacIas

Cynthia Maravilla-Macias is a dedicated education professional with extensive experience in college access and counseling. Currently serving as a Counselor at Mission Vista Academy since September 2021, Cynthia previously held the role of Associate Director of College Access at LA Promise Fund, where responsibilities included college counseling at Manual Arts High School. Additional experience includes serving as the Los Angeles Region School Outreach Coordinator for Sandy Hook Promise and working in various capacities at California State University campuses, including evaluating admissions as a So-Cal Regional Counselor and coordinating educational programs as an EAP Coordinator. Cynthia's commitment to educational outreach is further demonstrated through their role as a Site Coordinator for UCLA's Early Academic Outreach Program, where workshop facilitation and application review were key responsibilities. Cynthia holds a Master of Science in College & School Counseling from California State University-Dominguez Hills and a Bachelor’s degree in History from UCLA.

Mission Vista Academy

Mission Vista Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school serving transitional kindergarten through 10th grade students in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. We will be adding 11th grade in 2021-2022 and 12th grade in 2022-2023. We take great pride in being able to offer our students flexible personalized learning experiences through our many unique and dynamic programs.
