Todd Smith

Todd Smith, MD, MMM, MLS, FAAOS, FACHE, currently serves as the Associate Chief Medical Officer at Mississippi Baptist Health Systems since January 2022. Prior to this role, Todd held the position of Chief Medical Officer at the Mississippi Division of Medicaid from August 2021 to December 2021, and at OCH Regional Medical Center between January 2018 and July 2021, where Todd also functioned as Chief Medical Information Officer. From August 2002 to June 2019, Todd practiced as a Physician specializing in Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy at Starkville Orthopedic Clinic, emphasizing evidence-based practices and patient education with the support of a nurse practitioner. Todd's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Healthcare Law from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, a Master’s degree in Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and an M.D. in Orthopedic Surgery from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine.
