J Clay Norton

J Clay Norton, Ed.D. is an experienced educator and consultant specializing in educational leadership and mathematics. Currently serving as a consultant for SLLA Consulting since July 2018, J Clay Norton provides test-preparation workshops for candidates of the School Leadership Licensure Assessment. In addition, J Clay Norton is an adjunct professor at both Mississippi College and Belhaven University in the School of Education. With a substantial background in K-12 education, J Clay Norton has been an educator in the Clinton Public Schools since August 2008, contributing as the head golf coach from 2017 to 2025 and as the head boys basketball coach from 2008 to 2017. J Clay Norton holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Mississippi College, along with a Master of Education in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, demonstrating a strong commitment to continuous professional development in the field of education.
