John Conard

John Conard has extensive work experience in various industries. From 2015 onwards, they worked at Mississippi Lime Company, initially as the Director of Operational Excellence and later as the Director of Specialty Operations.

Prior to joining Mississippi Lime Company, John worked at The University of Kansas from 2009 to 2015. During this time, they held the position of Professor of the Practice - Project Management and developed and taught several graduate level project management courses. John also served as an Adjunct Faculty, instructing graduate level courses in energy management, finance, advanced operations management, and integration of technology in manufacturing.

From 2004 to 2009, John Conard worked at ICL. John held various roles including Technical Services Manager/Quality and Food Safety Manager and Engineering Manager, responsible for development and execution of capital plans and providing oversight and leadership for process and controls engineering.

Prior to joining ICL, John worked at FMC Corporation from 1989 to 2004. During this time, they held positions such as Operations Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Engineer, where they implemented maintenance programs and led a maintenance and engineering organization.

Before starting their career at FMC Corporation, John worked at Procter & Gamble from 1986 to 1989 as a Project Engineer and Team Manager, overseeing construction projects in packaging and warehouse operations.

Overall, John Conard has a diverse background in project management, operational excellence, engineering, and leadership roles across various industries.

John Conard attended Lawrence High School from 1978 to 1981. After completing high school, they enrolled at The University of Kansas and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 1981 to 1985. Subsequently, John pursued higher education at The University of Kansas, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering Management from 1990 to 1994.
