Ruthie Massey

Ruthie R. Massey serves as the Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations at the Mississippi Museum of Art since July 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing facility operations and the human resources program. Previously, Ruthie managed the museum's membership program and visitor experience, as well as orchestrated special events and fundraisers. Prior experience includes roles as Guest Services Associate at the Mississippi Children's Museum, Manager of Special Events at the New Orleans Museum of Art, and Public Events Coordinator at The Dallas Arboretum & Botanic Garden. Ruthie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from Millsaps College and has furthered education through several leadership and human resources certifications.
