Cedrick Hurd

Cedrick Hurd possesses extensive experience in the utility industry, currently serving as Northern Division Manager at Mississippi Power since March 2016, with previous roles including Major Account Manager and East Area Manager. Prior to this, Cedrick held the position of IT Contracts & Vendor Manager at Southern Company from March 2013 to March 2016. Prior to that, Cedrick worked at Mississippi Power from April 2004 to March 2013, serving as Contract Agent/Supplier Diversity Coordinator and Strategic Buyer, specializing in the strategic sourcing of utility products. Cedrick holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from Mississippi State University (2002-2003) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from The University of Southern Mississippi (1996-2000).
