Prior to that, John worked at Gulf Power Company from August 2006 to January 2019 in Environmental Affairs and at Sanders Engineering and Analytical Services, Inc. from May 1999 to August 2006 in an environmental capacity. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of South Alabama, completed between 1992 and 1996, and attended Hargrave Military Academy from 1989 to 1991.
