Ann Carr

Ann Carr has extensive experience in student athlete welfare and academics at Mississippi State University, where roles since September 1993 have included Deputy AD/SWA/Chief Diversity Officer and Senior Associate Athletic Director. Carr has served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Women's Athletics, focusing on life skills coordination and academic counseling for football athletes. Responsibilities have also encompassed serving as an academic counselor for female sports and the MSU Football team. In addition, Carr has been the sport administrator for women's basketball and softball, while acting as a liaison for the Athletic Academic Department, overseeing student welfare, advising the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, and serving as the Title IX liaison. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Counselor Education and a Bachelor of Science in Educational Psychology, both from Mississippi State University.
