Elias Hossain

Elias Hossain is currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at Mississippi State University, focusing on a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Under the mentorship of Dr. Shahram Rahimi, Elias contributes to innovative research at the PATENT lab, exploring the intersection of artificial intelligence and education. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer in ML/AI at REVE Systems, where Elias developed advanced speech recognition systems, and as a Collaborative Researcher at the IoT Health Research Lab, conducting critical analyses in healthcare technology. Additionally, as an AI/ML Researcher at Time Research & Innovation, Elias designed deep learning algorithms for COVID-19 detection and developed classification models for X-ray anomalies.
