James Carskadon

James Carskadon currently serves as the Marketing and Communications Manager for the MSU High Performance Computing Collaboratory at Mississippi State University since December 2019, while also holding the position of Research Editor for the Mississippi State University Office of Public Affairs since July 2016. Prior experience includes roles as a News Writer at Starkville Daily News from January 2015 to June 2016 and as a Reporter at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication from September 2012 to August 2014, where James also worked as a Graduate Teaching Fellow. Additional experience encompasses a Research Assistant position at the Social Science Research Center, alongside various roles in journalism and research, including Sports Editor and Staff Writer for The Reflector and Sports Intern at Starkville Daily News. James obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a focus on Journalism and Broadcasting from Mississippi State University between 2008 and 2012.
