Mohammad Marufuzzaman

Mohammad Marufuzzaman is an accomplished academic and professional in the field of Industrial and Systems Engineering, currently serving as the Department Head and Larry Brown Endowed Professor at Mississippi State University since January 2011. In addition to these roles, Marufuzzaman holds the Charles R. Stephenson Endowed Professorship and has held various positions within the department, including Associate Professor, Interim Department Head, Graduate Coordinator, Assistant Professor, Visiting Assistant Professor, Research Assistant, and Laboratory Instructor. Prior experience includes serving as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Regina and as a Sr. Industrial Engineering Officer at Youngone Fashions Limited. Marufuzzaman's educational background includes a PhD in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Mississippi State University, a Master of Applied Science from the University of Regina, and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.
