Nicole Busby

Nicole Busby is an undergraduate student at Mississippi State University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with an expected graduation in May 2025. Currently serving as a Summer Researcher in the Environmental Toxicology Lab, Nicole assists with research on the toxicological effects of environmental contaminants, which aligns with future doctoral studies in environmental toxicology. Prior experience includes conducting in vitro assays to study the effects of the organophosphate insecticide phorate and its impact on acetylcholinesterase inhibition, as well as roles in retail and food service, highlighting a diverse skill set and a strong foundation in scientific research.
