Phillip Stockton

Phillip Stockton is an experienced music educator and choral director, currently serving as the Associate Director of Choral Studies and Assistant Clinical Professor at Mississippi State University since August 2019. With a strong background in music education, Stockton has held various positions including Minister of Music at Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church since July 2014 and Assistant Professor of Music Education and Director of Choral Activities at Mississippi University for Women from July 2013 to June 2019. Earlier, Stockton contributed to the University of Mississippi as a graduate student and taught music at Mandarin High School in Duval County Public Schools from August 2007 to June 2010. Education includes a Ph.D. in Music Education from the University of Mississippi and a Master's and Bachelor's in Music Education from Florida State University and Auburn University, respectively.
