Michael Guidry serves as the Managing Editor at Mississippi Today since February 2024. Previously, Michael held various roles at Mississippi Public Broadcasting from November 2019 to May 2024, including Host of @Issue, Managing Editor, and Executive Producer, where meaningful conversations about Mississippi were facilitated. Michael also contributed to Parents & Kids Magazine as a Podcast Writer/Host and Account Executive from November 2018 to November 2019, focusing on podcast content development and managing advertising accounts. An artistic consultant for EnterLocked Escape Rooms in 2018, Michael assisted with the design of a themed escape room. From 2007 to 2018, Michael worked as a Teacher and Coach in Mississippi Public Schools. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Theatre from Millsaps College and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Belhaven University.
