Scott Lawryk is an experienced property and facilities manager with a background in sports administration. Currently serving as the Property Manager at Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority since July 2022, Scott previously held various leadership roles at RA Centre Ottawa, including Director of Facilities and Asset Management and Manager of Facilities and Property. Other notable positions include General Manager at Mask Management Consultants Limited, Manager of Minor Hockey at Senators Sports & Entertainment, and General Manager of the Ottawa International Hockey Festival. Scott also served as Manager of Adult Hockey Leagues and Manager of Tournaments at Capital Sports Management Inc. Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Sports Administration from Laurentian University, awarded in 2006.

Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA) is one of 36 Conservation Authorities in Ontario. Formed in 1968, MVCA’s mandate is to manage the watershed’s resources in partnership with our eleven member municipalities and the Province of Ontario. With more than 250 lakes and wetlands, the Mississippi River watershed encompasses an area of 3,750 km² from its headwaters at Mazinaw Lake to its confluence at the Ottawa River. Together with the drainage areas of the Carp River, MVCA has a total jurisdiction of 4353 km².
