Lorah Lackland (Slaton)

Lorah (Slaton) Lackland has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Missouri School of Journalism since 2022. Lorah previously served as the Director of Marketing at Missouri Business Alert starting in 2012. In addition, they have held board member positions at Children's Grove since December 2020 and at the Columbia Entrepreneurship Alliance since June 2020.

Lorah (Slaton) Lackland pursued their education in the field of journalism at the Missouri School of Journalism. Beginning in 2008, they completed their Bachelor of Journalism degree, focusing on journalism as their field of study. After completing their undergraduate studies, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree from the same institution, specializing in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs. Lorah'spostgraduate studies took place between 2012 and 2013.
