Emily Underwood

Emily Underwood serves as the Board Secretary for FestAbility since 2022 and has a long-standing role at the Missouri Historical Society, where tenure spans from February 2003 to the present in various capacities including Community Initiatives Specialist and Director of Community Programs. In these roles, Emily leads a team to develop and evaluate public programs that align with the Society's mission, emphasizing a diverse presentation of regional history. Previous experience includes managing public programs that foster community engagement and partnerships while serving in leadership positions for Connect With St. Louis, where initiatives targeted young professionals. Educational background includes studies at Washington University in St. Louis, Kenyon College, and Thomas Jefferson School.
