Ron Richard

Ron Richard is the owner of C&N Bowling Corporation in Joplin. He currently serves on the board of directors for Joplin’s Connect2Culture and as co-chair of the Missouri Bicentennial Commission.

He served in the Missouri Senate from 2010-18, serving as President Pro Tempore from 2015-18. He also served in the Missouri House of Representatives from 2002-10, where he was Speaker of the House from 2009-10 and the chairman of the Committee on Jobs and Economic Development. He formerly served as the mayor of Joplin from 1994-98.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Missouri Southern and a master of arts degree in history from Missouri State University.
