Deborah Schooley

Case Manager at MISSSEY

Deborah (also known as “Dee”) has a strong passion for social justice and community outreach. As a Bay Area native and former foster youth, Deborah became a product of all systems. Yet is living proof that actions speak louder than words. Deborah finds that she is enthralled and challenged working in a client service setting. She brings over 9 years of case management experience, working with individuals in various contexts, such as: mental health, substance abuse, foster care, domestic violence, homelessness, and re-entry. Deborah possesses a visionary leadership style that allows her to translate goals into actions, and actions into inspirations. Deborah earned her Bachelors in Social Work from San Francisco State University and is a first-generation graduate student, currently enrolled at the University of Southern California to become a licensed clinical Social Worker. Focusing on historical disparities experienced by people of color and its effects on dual-diagnosis. Uplifting the community is of the utmost importance in today’s society and it takes humility and patience to cater to that vision.
